Fulham match proves we don't have a squad

Any of the top sides could have put a squad team out for the fulham match and come away with 3pts. Don't know if ours were sulking or some had already been told their Anfield careers were over. Either way they're paid pros and should have had the right attitude. Feel sorry for the fans who actually paid to see that. Many, many years ago a defeat at Anfield used to injure any Liverpool fan, now were numb from the pain.

Don't understand people who turn up for any job and work like that. I'd be fired if I had their mentality.

Think Dempsey again proved what forward play is all about, giving Skrtel the runaround.

  • Chelsea lost to Newcastle and that will make their will to win even stronger. However they will be distracted with their imminent CL finals coming up

  • KingWillis, I hope Maxi turns up on saturday as a 'mouse' and scores 2. That'll do me. Agree with JDMayn1, it is demoralising not only for the fans but the younger players who were just lost in that game. First team experience is good, bad experience can destroy confidence. The other thing is we had opportunity to buy strikers and wingers just like any other team and didn't take it. I think Kenny was burdened having spent £35 million on one player. We can't get into that again, Newcastle proved there are bargains galore. Ben Arfa, Cisse and Tiote were brilliant against Chelsea.

Every Red is behind the team on saturday. I think we can beat them. We've got a great recent record and we worry them. I was at Chelsea away and we played like the home team. Since then they've got the better of Barca (respect that), so their confidence must be back. Very even. Wonder if someone like Carroll could surprise and be the hero?

  • Kingwillis says it all below.  Felt pretty sorry for Shelvey and Carroll.  Could see they were better than that.  Was truly demoralising.  Kenny might know how to do the domestic cups but he has a lot to learn about squad rotation and morale.  Anyone watch Chelski last night?  they rested one player.  They lost but you can't say Cisse didn't deserve it.  One more point.  We have 2 stikers in our squad.  QPR have 7.  Enough said.  (Thought Aurelio looked class too.  One minute he had before that home game.  What a waste for our CL winner).
