Interesting Situation With A Certain Aquaman Comments

  • We need the strength in depth, and different types of midfield to enable us to play with different systems if the need arises. If anything, the Shelveys and Hendersons casn learn from having Aqua around.

  • Bring him back home.

Quality. Henderson has had a problem filled season. Need to mature. He can be good in some years time. But Aqua is a world class player. Creative

  • The Aquaman should be giving a chance to prove himself, atleast Milan don't want him from all indications. Maybe if he comes back did well then if we want to sell him we can then decide.

  • I agree we only want players that are 100% committed to this football club. It is a well known fact that Torres broke all of our hearts when he left the club. I really think it put a bad wrench in our future plans as an in for Torres partnership with Suarez would have been something to behold.

Aquilani has said in the past that he does not want to play in England and has shown that he is not so much interested in Liverpool FC. For me that says we should not be interested in him and sell him asap.

He is a talented player and a creative midfielder which we are lacking at the moment, but I don't believe he is the answer to this problem because of his lack of dedication towards the club.

We need players that respect our history and are dedicated to our goal of becoming the best club in Britain as we used to be.

Don't be fooled we are making huge strides with kenny and the new owners. Liverpool FC is heading in the right direction and we are just a few key players from returning to the glory days.

  • We need his sort of player, as long as he plays well im fine with his return!

  • If he genuinely wants to come back and stay at Liverpool then I would welcome him with open arms.

  • If he were to come back and not get injured so much, and add creativity to the midfield then I would welcome him back with open arms. I liked Aqualini, I thought if played to his potential he could be a real force, but it never materialized. If Kenny wants him and he plays well then of course I would want him back. But I have a feeling that wont happen.

  • He is not going to want to Leave Milan for Liverpool. Not a chance. As for expensive benchwarmer, he maybe, but Shelvey, Spearing and Adam couldn't lace his boots if we are talking about actually playing football. We are short of creativity and quality, but as long as we have graft, heart and running round like a headless chicken we'll do just fine in mid-table.

  • It's like this:
You go to a convenience store, and see a tester bottle of deodorant. You use it and empty it without buying. That's what milan are doing. They've played him and they don't want to buy him.

  • @mez-jft96

Thats fine except for a couple of things...

A lot of fans don't want him back....even if some do.

He doesn't want to come back.

If he wants to come back and Kenny wants him...then fine...

    Otherwise....what's the point?

GrottonRed, 1 year ago | Flag
  • @mez-jft96 Yeah he's so good Milan have refused to meet the £5 million asking price. He's been poor for Milan and would be no better in the Prem.

  • we as fans have a responsibility to let Kenny know that we desperately need the creative talents of Alberto Aquilani. whether it be by email, twitter, other social media or even by chanting Alberto's name at Anfield and holding up signboards begging for his return. let's all start the "We Want Alberto" campaign. hopefully, FSG and Kenny will notice and keep him on board next season.

  • I've a soft spot for aquaman. I think its very hard to be at the club fighting for a spot if when the gaffers does not rate you. The italians are very smart and they know that LFC does not want aquilani so they can play hard ball. They know that they can get a very good quality player for a song eventually.

  • Destroy some youngster's self-confidence by arbitrarily shunting them aside, and then accuse them for the sorry mess they become.

Like Pacheco and Krisztian Nemeth, to name but two.

A Former Fan, 1 year ago | Flag
  • Pacheco is waste of space, he has score 0 goals in 11 games at this season. If he cant score in la liga he has no hope of scoring in epl

Bietu, 1 year ago | Flag
  • Ah yes.

Also, bring back Pacheco - and play him - before thinking of buying.

Him, Maxi and Bellamy on the left side of midfield already is pretty good cover.

Perhaps all we need for next term.

  • Bring back Aquilani.

Also, apologize for messing up his career.

He did not deserve being turned into a nomad.

Which situation the Italian clubs have known to exploit magnificently.

So much quality at the expense of Liverpool...

  • Pato is good but is he able to adapt to Liverpool's style of playing. We need to match our signings with our style of play. Good examples are Henderson and Adam. They were good in the previous team but failed to shine for Liverpool. Is it because they are off form or due to the difficulty of adapting to our style of play?

  • keny wont have him back on 100 thousand a week when he can pay jordan and cole the same every week.

A Former Fan, 1 year ago | Flag
  • if he keeps henderson off the pitch everyone will be happy apart from you silly and the other one keny! this is why the same players we had now need again? were screeming for them back! after saying their weak and can't make it in this league..face it you don't now nothing about football, and the manager don't want better creative players he wants long ball cross in the box..arrrh john ..oh mist again..it wont changes the major problems. keny will play them out untill they have no legs.. wile we all set are whatch again for a mediocre season ahead.

A Former Fan, 1 year ago | Flag
  • We could use Aquilani as make weight for siging Pato. I dont belive that he wants to go play in french league, he is way too good player for low level league. Rumors say that milan would let him go since he doesent get along very well with they manager.

He would be excactly the kind of player we need, striker with pace, can score goal per 2 games started for avarage, can play as right winger if needed. Is still very young even has won everything possible in europe, so far. It would be easy for him to come play with us since we have other brazilians he would have easyer time to adapt.

Bietu, 1 year ago | Flag
  • okay let's be honest as a player who can play between the lines and open up defenses, he's okay. But the prem. is too physical for him. He doesn't want to be here and made that point extremely obvious time and time again. Let's just get shot of him and remember him the way the scum and chavs remember Veron, just a lot of hat could have been.

A Former Fan, 1 year ago | Flag
  • If they don't want him for £5m, why should we?

He is much more suited to Italian football.

    He will not be back...

GrottonRed, 1 year ago | Flag
  • If he comes back I will buy you a Limo.

"ANY RAISE ON A LIMO   '..." GOING ONCE ...GOING TWICE.....

UncleScouse, 1 year ago | Flag
  • He doesnt want to be here and not to put too finer point on it i couldnt care a less, whenever  he played for us he looked a bit of a light weight apart from in a couple take it easy friendlys.

  • Kenny will never bring back Aqua back, if he wanted to keep him then he would not have released him in the first place!

I wanted Aqua to stay as much as everyone else on LFC but...

JasminLFCiceman, 1 year ago | Flag
  • I think he has made 25 appearances but not 25 starts. He never settled over here. It is his choice if he wants to go to Italy or stay here and fight for a place in the team.
